Places To See

It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

There is no better way to kick off the holiday season than at an old fashioned town square tree lighting ceremony.

Georgetown, Texas puts on a great show to usher in the Christmas spirit like nowhere else.

Just as you would expect, there is music, hot cocoa, fun things for the kids. Even the shops stay open late in case you want to start on your shopping early.

If you catch it early enough, you could score a great table at Gumbo’s to watch the event from the balcony! (Though those spaces go fast!)

People come from all over to experience this impressive show. And it really is quite breathtaking. You will want to put it on your calendar year after year.

The 2018 Georgetown Lighting of the Square is November 23 starting at 5:30pm. Lights go on when it gets dark, but show up early and enjoy the fun!

And if you decide you want to enjoy this event every year, but need a house nearby, call me! I would love to help you find your perfect home for the holidays (and all the other days, too)
