City Post Chophouse

The newly-opened City Post Chophouse is one of Georgetown’s premier restaurants. Located in the historic former post office, the City Post offers fine dining in a unique setting. The grand old building with its large domed windows and United States Post Office inscription welcomes patrons.

Inside visitors are immediately greeted by a wall of charming old mailboxes.

The atmosphere is endearing and inviting with a so much nostalgia. The service is friendly and and efficient.

The City Post Chophouse also offers an oyster bar, butcher shop, and the second level is a 4,000 square-foot private events venue. It is open for lunch and dinner with a full bar and cocktail menu.

The only negative may be lack of parking.

Treat yourself to a wonderful dining experience at the City Post Chophouse. Reservations are recommended…and the French onion soup should be required!
